Zombie Tips

General Strategies
  • When you start off, everybody needs to pick a window or general area and stay there. Don’t gank your friends zombies. Nobody likes THAT guy.
  • By the very nature of guarding a window, you’ll have your back to your teammates. Communication is key. Tell everybody whatever you’re doing when you’re doing it, and for godssakes, if a zombie gets through your window, tell a friend.
  • Get out of the main area after round four. If you wait any longer, the crappy starting weapons will send you to an early grave. The idea is to get the best weapons you can, as early as you can, to stay alive as long as possible.
  • Find the mystery box! It’s extremely important to get some better weapons as quickly as possible. If you can stay in that area for a round or two, even better.
  • Don’t place claymores and bouncing betty’s in front of the door you’re guarding. Put those behind you, so when you’re forced to back up because of an untimely reload, that bomb will protect your retreat and keep anything from sneaking up on you from behind.
  • In the later rounds, its vital to aim for the head. They take much more damage from head shots.
  • Save monkey bombs for when a teammate becomes downed. Throw the monkey bomb out to get the zombies off your tail and quickly revive the person.
  • If more than one person goes down, the one with the ray gun is top priority.
  • At the end of each round, keep one zombie alive, either by trapping it behind a barrier or let it chase you around. Then your other three teammates are free to go get new weapons or perks as needed.
  • Double Tap is a waste of money.
  • If you can only choose one, get quick reload over Juggernaut. Quick reload will keep zombies from ever touching you.
  • The person with the worst weapons must guard the window. Ideally, shotguns and pistols work great for keeping them at bay.
  • Never use a ray gun to guard a window, you’ll inevitably hit a plank, causing splash damage to the user.
  • Don’t stand close to the window you’re guarding. Zombies will reach through and smack you.
  • Go through portals one at a time. If you go into one together, you’ll both get downed and you’ll lose your perks.
  • Before grabbing a max ammo, make sure you don’t have any downed teammates, because they won’t get the max ammo if they’re down. Also, be courteous and make sure that ll of your teammates have reloaded to maximize the power up.
